Our Practice and Facilities

Pet Doctors aims to offer a special experience that will keep you and your furry kids coming back and growing the Pet Doctors Family.
“Our number one priority is to provide compassionate quality veterinary care for your pet.”
Our practice offers an on-site x-ray facility utilising the latest digital developer technology as well as modern ultrasound equipment to aid diagnostic procedures. We have a dedicated theatre equipped with anaesthetic monitoring which allows us to perform an array of anaesthesia procedures in a safe sterile environment. While our state of the art dental unit and ultrasonic scaler allows us to keep your pets mouths clean, fresh and pain free.
To ensure your pet’s well being we have separate dog and cat areas to alleviate stress. Our generously sized cages and super soft bedding will ensure your pets have a comfortable hospital stay regardless of their size. While our large back yard provides the perfect place for your pets to stretch their legs and relieve themselves. We also have a separate isolation unit outside the building should your precious companion require it.
We have all the necessary equipment to perform routine work-ops and access to top local laboratories for further testing.
We pride ourselves in being your one stop shop for all your pet care needs. Along with our veterinary services we also have a shop that carries everything you need to ensure a happy pet. From quality food and treats to flea prevention, pet care products and accessories. We will also be introducing puppy classes and pet weight management soon.

Meet Our Vet

Carolyn graduated in 2005 with a BSVc from Onderstepoort, fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a Vet
After years in the industry, having worked in Joburg for several years, a year in the UK and the last few years in Port Elizabeth, she decided to start her own practice, where she could institute her own philosophy on Veterinary Science. A philosophy that is the sum of her past experience and a compassionate desire to offer a service that she would take her own furry kids to.
She is qualified to perform a number of procedures as well as being abreast of the latest treatments for your pets.
She shares her home with her Rottweiler, Colby, a rescue Toy Pom cross Sophie and her beloved cat George. In her spare time she loves taking strolls along Sardinia Bay beach with her canine companions. George isn’t a fan of the beach but gets truly spoilt when she arrives back home.
